
On September 20, the Becker Friedman Institute in China (BFI-China) and the Office of Admissions were honored to host students and parents for a welcome reception to inaugurate the 2022-23 academic year.
In brief remarks, Professors Michael Greenstone, Zhiguo He, and Lars Peter Hansenshared information about the University’s economics and environmental research programs in China, as well as opportunities for students and recent graduates. They were joined by Professors Chang-Tai Hsieh and Shaoda Wang, and UChicago’s Dean of Admissions, James Nondorf.
